I am so happy and relieved to finally post this. This has been by far the longest project I have conducted thus far. I can't quite remember when I started this, but it was during the time that I still had my laptop which was at least four or five months ago -sigh-
But it is finally done. The only thing that is not shaded is Axel's hair, because, honestly I didn't feel like trying to mess with it. What is it about Roxas' hair that makes it so easy to shade? I don't have enough money for a subcription, but advaned critique is always welcome!! |

your coloring is soo frikkin neat, especially with roxas's hair LOL.
some tips i'd like to give you x)
don't be shy with shading! your shading technique is off to a good start 8D you chose a light source, and it stays consistent, so that's good. you should shade roxas's hair a little more, moreso on the right side of his head--meaning your left lmfao, to get the depth and perspective just a bit more defined. make sure to shade in the features of the characters' faces, like for roxas, his nose and around his eyes--doing so will help round and flesh out his face a little more.
in the future, try using a darker color for the shades--many people are very conservative with the shade that they use, but with practice, you can definitely start blending darker shades with lighter shades to add more element to the artwork
anyways, that was a mouthful, but i hope you keep practicing!
